I just watched Hachiko: The Dog's Story last night despite that it has been released for over a year.
I can't get over it.
Whenever my mind is not occupied (eg peeing/driving),
those scenes in Hachiko's would flash through.
How Hachiko was lost in the train station.
How Hachiko was picked by the professor.
How Hachiko was trained.
How Hachiko tried to sneak out just to send its owner off.
How Hachiko sit handsomely while bearing the hope of the master's return - which never realised.
How Hachiko pictured the master's return at the last moment.
Okay la I felt better when the dog's wish was fulfilled by its own imagination but... it was not real.
It never happened.
Then I started to blame the producer of the show:
Why couldn't Professor Parker ala Richard Gere the dog's master die at home?
Hachiko wouldn't have to bear the expectation of the owner's return that way.
The idea that the dog was waiting for something which would never come, shattered my heart.
Whenever I think of the scenes,
my tears welled up and with a blink of eyes,
they would roll down.
My brother just sent me the scores of Hachiko's theme song,
and I couldn't complete the song,
my vision was blurred with tears.
And I can't help but to relate Hachiko to Carpy.
Every dog would wait for its owner's return.
I would never be alone notwithstanding that I return at four in the morning,
Carpy would be lying at the doorstep, waiting for me.
Whenever the gate opened,
the sleeping Carpy would spring up,
and welcome the return of it's owner with waving tails.
What if...
I went out and never returned?
(choi!!)
Okay,
now the sadder part.
What if...
I come back and what awaits me is darkness and silence?
I shared this idea with April and she comforted me that my grandma would be waiting for me,
which,
led me to a worse idea.
I don't even want to go to that part.
It will happen, subsequently.
I think this is the best moment in my life but I know that I will not be in this situation for life.
Things will change.
If I were given a chance to choose,
I think I would choose to be the one who bear the sadness.
All of the sudden, I feel so reluctant to grow.
I hate the idea that I would be torn apart with my loved ones.
p/s: writing helps. I'm feeling better now.

Stockholm syndrome (2)
Can die or not?
I'm suffering from the same syndrome.
I fell in love with someone who was...
How should I put it?
I don't want to use harsh words like disgusting or ugly because it's very de offensive la.
Alright,
if I were to rate him,
it would be 1 out of 10.
At least everything of his was complete.
He was fat,
greasy,
has thin hair,
thick lips,
oriental eyes,
onion nose,
and thick palm.
Alright picture it.
No.
It too vulgar.
I can't do it.
It's truly vomit-inducing.
He's even more disgusting than the taxi lou.
But here's the twist.
As I have mentioned earlier,
I fell in love with him.
How??
You say,
HOW??
The best part?
He kidnapped me.
Yes. I was kidnapped.
Shocked?
Didn't know that I even get kidnapped?
It's not something I felt proud of.
I just don't feel like spreading it, although I sorta like doing it now.
I can't hide it anymore.
I have to tell,
but I wasn't able to do it through my teeth.
Anyway,
I can't remember the details very well.
I was too scared at that time.
Was locked in a dark abandoned house,
like those happened in a movie or a drama.
Food and drinks were provided.
Nothing special.
Forgotten how to solve my bladder problems though.
Don't worry,
my family paid the ransom,
everything is alright.
We didn't lodge a police report,
remember?
I fell in love with him, the kidnapper, that very person we were supposed to charge and put him behind the bar.
Furthermore,
who would entertain a case which happened in my dream?

Codes
It is vital that you understand Cantonese and Chinese in order for you to read this post.
I'm amazed by the power of language.
I'm amazed that people are able to communicate with and understand each others by words.
I mean, this is not something gifted by God, I suppose.
God did not teach us how to speak, how to read, how to write.
Our parents or our guardians or our teachers do.
So, my mother tongue is Cantonese.
I think I started learning Chinese in kindergarten, and fall in love with it thereof.
Needless to say, I understand Malay and English.
Hello, it's Malaysia. Who doesn't understand this?
I know a little of Italian too...
Okay I feel guilty saying so.
I can't speak Italian - I just know a bit of their terms - we have to memorise all those in our music theory.
My ex boyfriend used to communicate in Hakka with his friends and hence,
not only do I understand Hakka,
I can speak too.
That's why I said,
language is amazing.
Well, it is a known fact that most of the Malaysians know at least 3 languages
Most of us couldn't be able to profess in except for the mother langauge.
Hey no, even our mother language are emblazoned [or rather tainted] with our very own Malaysian elements.
Eg, we dont' pronounce 什么 as shen3me although it is the accurate pronounciation but we said sommok instead.
We usually shorten 这样 into 酱.
As for Manglish, please click here.
It's rest assured that you will be amused by those familiar terms.
Well yeap, this is our nature which non-Malaysians might find it difficult to understand.
So, not only Malaysian come out with their own languages,
we among ourselves do create some alien terms too.
Come, let me share some of them with you.
Again, if you don't understand Cantonese/Chinese,
you will not be able to understand the following terms,
except perhaps for the last one.
Hot noisy, etc.
This is a direct translation from the chinese word, 热闹.
The hamka family loves this kind of translation.
Oh speaking of so, hamka stands for 冚家 in chinese,
means whole family.
How sweet...~
Wakil
In Malay, this would mean representative.
If you speak Cantonese, I'm sure that you have came across this phrase:
识少少,扮代表.
Direct translation: Pretend as a pro while you have little knowledge of something.
So the Chung family really hate people who talk a lot especially when they don't have much substance per se.
But we are a bunch of kind people you see,
we hate hurting others.
In order to conceal our evilness,
we came out with this term.
So when someone talk too much,
we would just refer him/her as wakil.
It is all understood then.
Numpetkia
When the hamka members run out of words in an argument,
and they don't feel like cursing (hamka is such a civilised clique yo),
they would use Numpetkia.
Example of usage:
正numpetkia!!
Don't be so numpetkia can or not?
numpetkia la u!!
From the above instances,
you can see that the range of usage for numpetkia is really wide.
It doesn't bear a specific definition,
it can be implied as foolish, brainless, useless, etc.
The best thing is,
people wouldn't even get hurt if you use this word.
Chibubu
It's one of the hamka member's nickname created in a Dota game.
Strictly speaking, it shares the similar usage with numpetkia.
In another word, it's the cute version of numpetkia.
Examples:
正chibubu!!
Don't be so chibubu can or not??
Chibubu la you!!
I find it cute and I name the mommy cat who just gave birth to four kittens at my front yard after it.More on this later.
细块衰,中块衰
(块衰 is to be pronounced gao shui)
This is improvised from the word 大块衰.
Please don't attempt to read it in Chinese.
This phrase doesn't exist at all.
So during high school,
we have this 块衰家族.
We would name the members according to the body size.
The girl who has the smallest size would be named 细细块衰,
followed by 细块衰,and so on.
I am of middle size among the clique hence I was named 中块衰.
Ajeedoo, Ajeedee, Ajee guh luct dai hou chow.
Read aloud.
Still don't get it?
Read again.
Don't get it?
Alright, you don't understand Cantonese.
It is a song created by my younger sister and brother.
Ajeedoo, Ajeedee, Ajee... doesn't mean anything.
Guh Luct Dai can be translated as armpit,
while hou chow means very smelly.
It's such a disgusting song which came with hilarious moves but I just can't stop laughing when they performed it.
I wished that they could do it again but their image prevails everything,
so even if they are willing to perform it,
they would want it to keep it private.
Oh by the way, the second verse sounds like the following:
Ajeee dooo....
Ajeee deee....
Ajeee Guh Luck!
See Fuct Jai hou Chow....
Those who can understand cantonese,
read out loud, and try to decode the words la.
Kuku sotong
This is a famous guys' game in my brother's high school.
Kuku means penis in... Cantonese? Child's language? Hokkien? Malay?
Not important, as long as you know that by kuku we refer to penis and by sotong we mean squid.
Basically the victim will be pushed against the floor by a bunch of guys,
while one of them hold the victim's legs in his hands,
and press one of his foot against the guy's penis so to make the guy's penis look like those squid's legs.
Illustration:
Understood?
Yes you do.
K la.
That's all from now.
I will write more if any strikes my mind again.

Secret
I'm glad to have reincarnated as a human instead of a tree so that I wouldn't have to be processed into papers and become a diary.
It's difficult to keep secrets, especially when it's something happy,
something of which you would want to spread it off on behalf of the person who told you that secret.
Well, that's the difficult part.
See, I'm a kaypoh, and I love knowing something which others don't know.
I feel privileged that way.
The hard part is that I can't use it as a gossip topic.
So friends have faith on me and keep on feeding me with their secrets,
and the more I get from them, the more I feel like bursting it out but I can't!!
God.
That's difficult.
I really don't get why wouldn't that someone share it with everyone.
Oh, maybe that particular person did, in the same way he/she shared with me.
'It's a secret, please don't tell anybody else.'
That's what he/she told everyone.
He/she wanted to make it low hence he/she used this way.
Then when any of the listener spread it off to another listener,
the second listener would go like 'oh he/she told me the same too!'
then indirectly the whole world would get to know that piece of news.
I'm not a diary, and I'm glad that I'm not, otherwise I would have to take more secrets,
but your secrets are still safe with me.
What crap am I talking about?
*Tony Starks, if you are reading, I don't refer to your secret.
I refer to someone else's.*

*I think* they do love me...
Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten so many surprises + celebration from them.
One after another, I almost couldn't take it.
Well, pathetically speaking, in my life, I haven't had so many of it in such a short period!
Alright.
I am rummaging through my memories, it happened 2 weeks ago, and memories do fade through passage of time. I need time to recollect the pieces. Aiks, if not for the procrastinating nature born with me.
1) Lavazza's
This is totally unexpected. Of course, it was a surprise, as I said.
I wrote about it here.
2) Sakae Sushi's
This is a fake celebration, according to them.
It is just a smokescreen in preparation for the coming surprises.
So the same clique, 3 of them, Jia Liang, Toby and Kin Chung treated me lunch as a so called celebtration at Sakae Sushi.
And I thought they wouldn't do anything anymore after that.
Opaque smokescreen they had it until I couldn't see the truth behind the it at all.
3) Taman Mutiara's residential area
This is quite funny I should say.
We gathered not for my birthday, albeit it was my birthday eve.
Buay Rip!Since it was quite early after sending him off, we decided to head to somewhere to watch fireworks.
Initially, we planned to go to the Look Out Point area, BUT there comes two problems.
1) it was Merdeka eve, we assumed that we had to jam all the way up to the hill.
2) Toby would wish to spend the Merdeka eve with his crush Yen Yee (hello any of you reading here?), and it would take about 20 minutes to crash the initially destined Ampang area from Yen Yee's place, it was 11.30pm when we made all the decisions and it was more than a speculation that we couldn't make it on time.
In the end, we decided to change the fireworks watching point to Yen Yee's residential area, a place of which we could have a equal bird-eye view of the city.
Toby and I went to pick Yen Yee up while the people from the other car, driven by Jia Liang, told Toby that they would want to get Oblong burger to have a picnic supper at the hill.
(sidenote: when asked, Toby told me that Oblong stands for Obviously Long,.
=.=
And I believed.
Er... Don't tell me that you believed like I did?)
So clock stroke 12am, and disappointingly, there weren't much fireworks around.
Individual fireworks could be spotted blossoming here and there in a lonely fashion.
Silent Merdeka celebration we had there. Sigh.
Alright I was ranting and babbling to an Aunty of how few fireworks this year when I heard someone singing from my back.
And I saw a familiar scene - Jia Liang, with a cake on his hand, leading the same clique, coming on my way.

The only difference is that the glamorous square Opera cake was then replaced by a simple round chocolate cake, decorated with a National flag which we got it at KLIA (happy Merdeka!);
and the birthday song was taken over by our national anthem, Negaraku. Oh yea, how patriotic!!That was, again, totally unexpected lah.

I remembered my self hiding my face in my hands, in a similar fashion of what I did in Lavazza's.
Really, how could one have so many surprises in such a short period?
Am I blessed or what?
Yea I shouldn't be too arrogant, that might just be a by the way act but see, I get satisfied very easily, even a by the way act was able to delight me.
Plus, I shouldn't have asked much - they, afterall, had celebrated for me few days before that!
That simple act, has truly made my night.
Oh wait, maybe it's not that simple afterall.
It wasn't easy for them to get a cake at that hour, and they were able to get one from Tesco, which operated until midnight.
I don't know whose brilliant idea was that, but thank you lah kawan~~
4) Zouk Cafe
It was a planned celebration and I knew that my friends gathered for my birthday.
Yen Yee, Hwai Li and Yen Ying were already there when I reached that place.
So ordered food, chit chatted, dee dee daa daa, and I expected it to be an end already.
So you could guess what happened next.
That familiar scene appeared before me again.
Someone was holding the cake, leading a bunch of people, singing the birthday song, coming on my way.
The difference of this with the previous two surprises were that, I saw a few unexpected faces..
I never thought that they would be there!
Alright, I know that Xiao Funn, who gave me a pair of beautiful Quaver earrings would be invited, her absence might due to her usual busy schedule....
but Mei Yi! My soulmate! I never expected her to be there!Don't think too much - it was not that something unpleasant happened between Mei Yi and Yen Yee + friends, they simple were not that close.
Much thanks to the sweetest Yen Yee who organised everything!!

Oh and!! That bunch of guys whom I had seen them for *I can't recall how many times* in a roll.
I thought it was just a girls' night out!

Anyway it was much like a girls' night out because the hens were gathered at one table while the bulls at another.
There were not much of interactions between the two genders.
Sometimes it's just too difficult to get every single person involved at the same time due to the location.Usual practices. We normally pen down the greetings on the spot.
Hwai Li.
Yeng Chern who gifted me a pair of treble clef earrings.Whooiyoh my pals really know me!!!
Last but not least, boys at the next table writing the greetings.

***
Phew. Surprises no more.
The one at Zouk's marked an end to my 23rd birthday.
I thought I was lucky and blessed to have spent my 21st birthday with the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen.
I thought I was lucky and blessed to have spent my 22nd birthday in an unusual place last year.
I was pleased and I didn't expect much for my 23rd.
Now I am truly delighted, knowing that there is a bunch of people who appreciate my birth.
Thank you mom! For giving birth to me!!

BEST!
Okay I try not to exaggerate but that's the best Japanese meal I have ever had.
See I love food but at the same time I'm a cheapskate who would usually opt for middle-price range food.
Japanese food have always been one of my favourite and when my friends and I could not think of any other food we usually would resort to it. Not to say that it's the last resort (how can it be the last resort) but nothing else could beat it I guess.
How ironic it was when Umai-ya had this Merdeka promotion for buffet lunch.
Remember how cruel and inhumane did Japanese treat our moyang when Tanah Melayu was conquered by them?
Forced ingestion? Where water were forced down the throat then into the stomach of our moyang's thena board would be put onto our moyang's stomach and each side of the board would be stepped on like playing on a see-saw to force the water out of the body again??
Slaving our moyangs?
Raping our moyangs?
(there are some other form of tortures but I can't recall any by now.
Cheh not that I was there, it is my grandma's bedtime story.
Yes my grandma knows nothing about Brothers Grimms' so I know nothing about Cinderella and Rapunzel until Disney made them into cartoons)
But it's all over now.
Not to worship Japanese, but they really are pretty productive.
They excel in motor industries, electric and electronic appliances, porns (too bad female is still the weaker side in their porn. Stand up Japanese women!!) and not forgetting food~
I've gone too far again.
Can we back to the food?
So Japanese buffet we went as my (suppose to be our. Bryan and I) birthday treat.
Not much pictures that I have taken because I only had half a dragon fruit as my breakfast. Yealar true Shang Hui kiasu fashion.
Now. Sashimi.
I'm so Ulu I thought it was impressive to have that amount of pink salmons before me.
What?
Usually I only have 3 pieces of Sashimis which already cost me RM5.90 at Sushi Zanmai.
I could have a big plate of Sin Chew Bee Hoon with that price alright?
Wait till I see this.
Remember the expression of the nut-craver's in Ice Age 3 when it gone to the heaven full of nuts?
Yes imagine that expression on my face.
Felt myself and that plate of Sashimis are glowing - with harps as background music and little angels flying around my head gracefully.
*faint*
No cannot faint.
I have to eat.
Sorry. Cannot resist to tempt you.
Alright, back to reality before Bebee and April finished up the Salmons. These Lims are crazy sashimi lovers as I am.
Legendary Bebee Lim who had devoured up to 40 pieces of salmons
(+ her darl, Wilson Lee who was conveniently bokeh-ed by mua)
Unlimited pieces of sashimis are good enough,
but the icing on the cake would be the followings:
Ice cream!!!!!
Faster imagine my usual expression when I have sweet stuff put before me.
Here they have 3 flavours: Wasabi, Chocolate and Macha.
Well I am those kind of person who eats plain wasabi during food waiting session and they guess I would love the ice cream and they even suggested me to mix up real wasabi with the ice cream.
*wasabi ice cream tasting in progress*
Scoop with spoon, slowly put into the mouth.
Rolled around with tongue. Wait. Till the ice cream melted.
BEST lah!!!!!
Okay. I was exaggerating.
It was spicily good, but I still prefer something less adventurous like macha and super boring chocolate ice cream.
Another 2 scoops of each please.
Have I told you about the sugar withdrawal symptoms I have suffered from?
I think I did.
Basically I need to have regular intakes of sugars - otherwise I would have runny nose and short temper and stuff lah.
Last but not least, a procedural candles blowing and cake cutting session~
Hello dearie ex please look at this picture!!!
I am so protective of myself now that my future boyfriend doesn't have to worry that I zao guong anymore.
Alar pity of you that you have to take up that worry...
Look like a pair of couple ain't it?
No la I'm not dreaming - Bryan and I are jimuis it's impossible for us to couple up and I said so just because I know some of you would think we really look like one pair and I wanna prove that I can read your mind.
Wishing really hard.
Haiyah everyone knows what's my birthday wish already.
No lor I'm not that shallow lor wanting a boyfriend is not my only birthday wish alright?
I also wish to pass my CLP exams at the first attempt.
*acknowledgement + appreciation. People who attended*
CK and his girlfriend, Jaslin, also another sashimi lover~~~
Despite that they have had another round of buffet at another branch of Umai-ya's,
they still attended the lunch. =)))))))
Joshua Ong who was sicked for that day.
This boy had been so quiet throughout the lunch.
Poor thing stayed till the end of the session despite having heavy head.
Oi! You better get well soon!!
I want you to talk more on our next meet up!!
+ Ren (who owns a classical Leica camera for free due to some technical mistake made in the ebay transactions .. I like!!!) + April (I will whack you if you say you don't know who April is) who were not in the pictures.
And the very late Ceddy!!!
Please let me explain his lateness!
Ceddy was late because he wanted to get something for me~!!
Neh the compilation of 101 music for relaxation I'm holding in hand??
Can you see that???
You know what I have always wanted to get this kind of music because I practise Yoga and Pilates (don't ask me why am I still so fat) and sometimes it's tiring to count in silence. Music helps in counting, definitely. I only have contemporary hits on my play list and I will lose patience very fast and started dancing (don't ask me why am I still so fat) if I practise Yoga to those music.
Alright I didn't purchase it for myself because of the same ol' reason - I am stingy, simple as that.
Everything was just amazing lah.
Thank you people for the treat!!
I feel worried again.
I'm gonna repeat what I have said earlier.
I am feeling so happy right now I afraid that there is a quota for happiness and I have over consumed it and not much would be left.
I hope I could find an ingredient to generate happiness so that I wouldn't have to worry anymore.

It's an assss' post
I purposely added another 2 S so that you wouldn't think of it as a post of detailed description of a buttock or a donkey.
Nor am I enraged with anything so please don't take the asss here as a vulgarity.
By this, I do mean the alphabet 'S'.
See, this is an amazing alphabet.
Stuff which begin with an S are splendid:
Sun.
Sea.
Sand.
Surf.
Scubadive.
Skydive.
ShangHui.
Etc.
Too bad, my post is about neither of this.
BTW, save the shit.
I know some people are mentally imbalanced,
when someone speaks of good stuff,
they think of the opposite the rebut the speaker's statements.
Let's go back to the assss' post.
So it was Sunday.
See. Told you so.
It is an undeniably fact that both Saturday and Sunday are the favourite days of the week for many of you out there.
And both of the spelling start with S.
A bazaar will be held at Mist Club, hence April and I decided to check it out.
We need to find something to fill up our boring Sunday.
K I swear upon my body weight that it was not pre-planned.
It's so happen that we were wearing stripes.
Whoa daytime Mist.
Good thing about daytime Mist club is that it's not misty at all.
Since it's a fashion bazaar,
no one is allowed to smoke (start with an S as well, but this is not good),
hence air was clear,
albeit there is still some leftover smell which trapped in the fabrical stuff in the club.
Well, it's good to enjoy the blasting music without having to breathe in the choking air.
Look!! The DJ was wearing stripes as well!!
Shopping has always been girls' favourite activity.
Well it is not necessary to splurge in order to enjoy the joy in shopping.
Window shopping could be quite satisfying...
Alright, I feel guilty saying so and I can't go on anymore.
Window shopping can never satisfied my desire.
The ultimate purpose of shopping is to bring something home.
The whole process of shopping would render pointless and it's a waste of time if you end up nothing in the end.
BUT!
It still doesn't mean that I have to spend lavishly.
Now I have to clarify something - some people thought that I am highly maintained.
Eh.. Please la. I am in actual fact a cheapskate.
I can safely say that I seldom buy normal price item - unless the original price is RM25.
I am more stingy than how you have thought I was.
I would rather spend more for a gastronomy adventure rather than for fashion.
Okay anyway,
so the fun part of shopping is something in the middle of splurging and buying nothing.
It is the discovery of something worth its price, something of which, when seen, looks more expensive than its cost.
(BTW, I just bought a second hand 50mm f1.8 lens for RM230.
Yea I heard your small voice: walao RM230 she said cheap. She is rich lah. but wait!
The first hand price of the lens is about RM330.
The 2nd hand would usually priced at about RM280.
You are lucky if you are able to find one at RM250.
So am I not the luckiest person to be able to get one at RM230??
It's not a super old lens in the first place!! The warranty period last until May2011.
Nah this is what you call a smart shopper lark)
Alright back to the bazaar.
The whole point of going to the bazaar is to hunt for cheap stuff.
Smart Shang has fulfilled this point in the satisfied level.
In the end, I only bought a top and a shorts - both of them are under RM30.
So it was still quite early when we done shopping in the bazaar.
We decided to continue our journey to Jalan Telawi.
I heard small voices in you again: Hooiyoh Bangsar oh high class people oh.
That's what my friend teased me when I told him that I was shopping over there.
Wait lah. I haven't finished talking yet.
I did not manage to get anything from those boutiques at Telawi street - because those clothes cost more than I would want to spend.
Well, I believe that in most of the cases, it is not that you can't afford those pieces of clothes.
You can, if you want to get it.
It's just... it is overpriced lah.. it costs more than it is worth.
Okay I ended up buying only a laptop skin (RM15) and a handphone strap for my sis (RM5),
*the said laptop skin*
after climbing up stairs and stairs and stairs.
Good way to burn calories though.
After a long while, we started to get hungry.
Unlike some of the Twitterians, we don't whine about it.
We do something more practical, like, hunting for food.
We ended up having something start with S again, (save that shit!)
Sushi it is!!
Double S this time, it's Sakae Sushi!!
Alright it's nothing fascinating about eating Sushi, so I have nothing much to talk about it.
Erm... Except that I terpoured April's green tea while attempting to get the menu.
And... Except that I was being clumsy while refilling my green tea and showered the table with hot water.
And... Except that I left my laptop skin at my seat and the staff kindly sent it back to me while I was paying at the cashier.
Nothing special other than this.
You see, I am one of those people who think that a perfect meal shall end with desserts.
I can safely say that I am addicted to sugar.
I will suffer from sugar withdrawal symptoms such as feeling sleepy, having runny rose, etc. if I don't give myself regular intakes of sugar.
I know, this is bad for my health but I just can't help it.
You know, it's like smoking.
It's not that I have ever tried smoking, I just feel that they can't quit because they encounter the similar problems too.
Anyway, I need some sugary stuff to satisfy my sweet tooth.
Hence cupcakes we went for!!
We went for Bijou's which cost us RM5.50 each cupcakes.
Yes I know it's rather expensive for a cake because you could simply get a muffin for RM2.50 from King's but as I've said, I would rather spend more on food.
Sunday.
Shopping.
Sushis.
Sweet tooth's satisfaction.
Superb~
